Premium AEROTEC to supply Airbus with A321 flap track

Aerostructures supplier Premium AEROTEC has been awarded by Airbus to manufacture Flap Track 1 for the A321. This selection results from a long-lasting experience of Premium AEROTEC in producing such wing components for Airbus' single aisle and A330 family as well as for the A380.

Airbus Chief Procurement Officer Dr. Klaus Richter handed over an award letter to Premium AEROTEC during Berlin Air Show ILA.

Airbus currently develops a new design concept of this wing component which will be produced at Premium AEROTEC's site in Augsburg. The production process will involve machining of aluminum and titanium parts as well as the assembly of all subcomponents. Flap Track 1 will be delivered from Augsburg to Airbus in Hamburg.
