Pursuit Aerospace announces completion of strategic acquisitions to advance growth

Pursuit Aerospace, a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components, today announced it has completed the strategic acquisitions of both Prescott Precision Die, Inc. and Merc Aerospace, Ltd..

“We are thrilled to welcome the Prescott and Merc teams to Pursuit Aerospace,” said Doug Folsom, Chief Executive Officer of Pursuit. “These acquisitions bring complementary capabilities and broaden Pursuit’s geographic presence in the Southwestern US and in the UK.”

“Prescott and Merc both focus on providing best-in-class quality, enhancing our leading position in engine component manufacturing,” added Ben Adams, Chief Commercial Officer. “We are excited to continue expanding our customer relationships across Prescott, Merc and future acquisitions.”

Founded in 1984, Prescott Precision is an Arizona-based manufacturer of tight tolerance turbine engine components for the aerospace & defense industry. Prescott’s advanced machining capabilities are supported by a wide range of services including heat treat and non-destructive testing.

Founded in 1970, Merc is a UK-based provider of precision machining services for the aerospace & defense and power generation industries. Merc’s machining capabilities are supported by a wide range of services, including CMM inspection and plating.
