"Right-size" your technical publications; link into Aero Webinars on July 30!

15/07/2009

Press releaseIssued by AIA Aerospace Industries Association.

Just as jet engines are carefully selected to provide appropriate thrust for an aircraft, it is critically important for aerospace manufacturers to develop the right type of technical publications for their products. Drex Rutledge, an expert in the field of technical publications for more than 31 years, is presenting a webinar on best practices for developing and maintaining technical information on aerospace systems.

Technical publications document how to operate, maintain, and sustain aircraft and systems. As a prime contractor, you'll want your suppliers to learn the best practices featured, and as a supplier this webinar series will give you a leg-up on competitors. Learn to match the system to the type of technical publication necessary.

This is the first module of a planned series of technical publications webinars, and will focus on the "basics" of technical publications attributes and implications. People who develop, create, and acquire technical information will benefit from the knowledge contained in this webinar.

You can sign up for this or any other Aero Webinar by going to our Resource Center at http://www.aia-aerospace.org/resource_center/ and clicking Aero Webinars, right at the top. Discounts are available for AIA regular and associate members and by purchasing a webinar series.
