Rockwell Collins today announced an agreement with Rosen Aviation to fully integrate Rosen's line of wide-screen, high definition (HD) displays with its Venue™ HD Cabin Management System. The agreement will enable authorized Rockwell Collins dealers to select integrated HD cabin displays – engineered specifically for a Venue system – directly from Rosen.
"This agreement is a great example of how we can leverage Venue's flexible architecture to bring the latest technologies to our customers quickly and affordably," said Tommy Dodson, vice president and general manager, Cabin Systems for Rockwell Collins.
The agreement enhances the variety of choices Venue customers now have for aftermarket displays. Rosen's HD display portfolio is one of the broadest in the industry, and continues to expand with the recent addition of a new 7" in-seat display, and the industry's first slim-line 32" display.
"We're very pleased that Rockwell Collins has chosen to integrate our displays with their Venue HD Cabin Management System," noted Darren Sparks, president of Rosen Aviation. "This provides yet another avenue for bringing our high-definition display technology to the market."
