S+D Spezialstahl becomes S+D Metals

25/11/2019

Press releaseIssued by S+D Metals GmbH.

When Bibus Holding AG acquired the majority shares of S+D Spezialstahl almost two years ago the synergies and opportunities resulting from the merger were clear to all involved. Both companies have benefitted from the groups combined knowledge, experience and complimenting stock portfolios uniting to create a unique offering in the field of high performance materials.

Over the past 24 months both companies have embraced the opportunities to work together and grow together both professionally and personally. "It is very gratifying to see how enthusiastically the colleagues have worked together and successfully merged and grown together into a close-knit team in a short space of time“, say the management team. Overlaps in the two companies stock portfolios were quickly reduced allowing us to expand the stock both with respect to the range of products and overall quantities – to the benefit of our customers. The Bibus Metals philosophy "Supporting Your Success“ has been successfully implemented.

The success story proves that both companies are working towards the same goal in their actions and their philosophy, which is why they remain two independent companies - two companies with one vision. The natural progression is to present the successful merger to the wider world with a joint appearance and adaption of the corporate identity of S+D Spezialstahl to that of the Bibus Metals Group …. S+D Spezialstahl becomes S+D Metals.
