As Dassault Aviation rolls out the Falcon 5X today in Bordeaux, SABCA is proud to be a major partner of the Falcon 5X program, involved in the development from the very beginning.
SABCA offered its expertise for both the development of the Dassault Falcon 5X Lower T34 Rear section and the manufacturing of the Horizontal Stabilizer composite elements:
The Lower T34 Rear section is a complex-shaped structural tank assembly, located in the main section of the lower aft fuselage. It is delivered to Dassault Aviation in a Fit-and-Fly condition, fully equipped with internal system installation and functionally tested;
The Horizontal Stabilizer composite skins and spars are manufactured by SABCA Limburg and delivered to Fokker Aerostructures for assembly.
Furthermore, SABCA is also assembling the Trim Airbrakes Slats and Flaps Unit (TASFU), a cockpit equipment which will be on display during the Paris Air Show on SABCA booth (Hall 2b, G50).
“The roll-out of the Falcon 5X is a milestone highlighting the fantastic work done on the most recent Falcon Jet. It gives a sense of achievement to all the teams involved in this innovative program, teams which are now looking forward to the maiden flight” said Jean-Marie Lefèvre, SABCA CEO.
