11/07/2012

Press releaseIssued by Tactair Fluid Controls Inc..

Tactair Fluid Controls (Hall 2/Stand B1) a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of fluid power and motion control products and systems has launched a new technology program that will expand its capabilities to include electro-mechanical, optionally actuated, landing gear and door uplocks. The focus of the program is to offer customers a choice between an electro-mechanical release and the traditional mechanically actuated release.

Tactair's new electro-mechanical alternative uplock release offers the air framer increased aircraft design flexibility and opportunities for significant weight savings. Tactair has made the design and manufacture of uplocks a strategic focus and specifically engineered and sized them for business and regional aircraft. A technology demonstrator will be on display at the Tactair Stand (H2/B1) where staff will be available to discuss the technology and explore potential applications.
