TAI wins contract for A330 composite rudders

Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. (TAI) has won a contract from AIRBUS S.A.S. – the leading aircraft manufacturer, covering the build and supply of composite rudders for the AIRBUS A330-200 and A330-300 long-range commercial jets. According to the contract signed on the first day of Paris Air Show – 17 June 2013, TAI is awarded as single-source through the AIRBUS A330 program lifetime.

The rudders will be manufactured at TAI's Ankara Kazan Premises in Turkey, where the Company is already contracted to design, build and supply of AIRBUS A350 XWB Ailerons and supplies control surfaces for a number of commercial/military aircraft platforms.
