CEL Aerospace (CEL) is happy to report that Tusaş Engine Industries Inc. (TEI) located in Eskişehir, Turkey, has chosen CEL for a T700 turnkey test cell for the purpose of new engine assembly and test, to be completed in 2018.
TEI is CEL's third T700 test cell customer after the ones for the Republic of Singapore Airforce as well as Vector in British Columbia, Canada. Tusaş Engine Industries was founded in 1985 as a joint venture between GE Aviation and the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI). CEL Aerospace is pleased that both the T700 original equipment manufacturer, GE Aviation, and the Turkish Government have placed their trust in them.
Founded in 1988 by Charles Lussier, CEL is a world leader in the design, build and commissioning of OEM compliant aviation engine test cells and component test benches for APU, Turbopropeller, Turboshaft as well as small and medium Turbofans, for Civil and Military applications. CEL is an OEM recognized Test Cell manufacturer with Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney Canada and has also worked with GE, Rolls-Royce and Safran for the design and delivery of over 200 OEM test cells projects. CEL has the unique ability to build multi-OEM as well as hybrid test cells.
