Tekna, a world-leading provider of advanced materials and plasma systems to industry, is pleased to announce it has received an order valued at CAD 2.0 million for high-performance titanium powder used in Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) additive manufacturing (AM).
The order follows an earlier engagement of CAD 1.6 million reported in July 2025 and represents a further increase in monthly volume from this customer, a Tier-1 supplier to the U.S. aerospace and defense industry. The expanded volume applies to deliveries scheduled for 2026 and reflects the customer’s growing demand for Tekna’s premium Ti64 titanium powder, specifically in the high-value, prime particle size range.
“This second significant order from this Tier-1 U.S. aerospace and defense partner highlights the trust placed in Tekna and in our titanium powder solutions for critical additive manufacturing applications,” said Claude Jean, Chief Executive Officer of Tekna. “The continued increase in monthly volumes and demand for prime Ti64 particle sizes reflects both our role as a long-term materials partner and our ability to support customers, for the most demanding applications, as they scale production in 2026.”
