TL Sport Aircraft announces partnership with Turbotech

21/07/2026

Press releaseIssued by TL Ultralight s.r.o..

TL Sport Aircraft is thrilled to announce the addition of an innovative propulsion systems partner, Turbotech to power its fleet of aircraft. First to introduce regenerative turbines for aeronautical applications, Turbotech's Turboprop is an alternative turbine offering low fuel consumption and eco-friendly flight solutions.

French-based Turbotech has developed an optimised heat exchanger technology that lowers the environmental impact of the turbine and makes the regenerative turbine the best solution for the future of aero-propulsion. Turbotech turbine engines have a notably higher reliability (MTBF) and lifetime (TBO) than their piston counterparts. Turbotech is setting a new standard in light aviation reliability and longevity.

"We are proud to offer a propulsion option that lowers the environmental impact of the turbine. Turbotech's decade of research and development compliments our commitment to the development of innovative aircraft designs." says Trey Murdaugh, President of TL Sport Aircraft.

TL Sport Aircraft will be offering the Turbotech Turboprop TP-R90 for the TL Sirius, TL Stream, and TL Sparker.
