Toho Tenax receives EN 9100 certification

Toho Tenax Europe GmbH is now certified according to the Quality Management Norm EN 9100. This norm is an extension to ISO 9001 and specifically designed for those companies producing for the aerospace industry. Thus as a direct supplier, the doors are open for business with the companies of the aviation industry. With this EN 9100 certification, Toho Tenax will strengthen its successful market position in the aerospace industry.

„Our aerospace customers have high requirements regarding the quality of our products, but also regarding the quality of our processes and its documentation. Those are often higher requirements compared to the common industrial extent and are assembled in international norms as EN 9100 or company rules, quality assurance agreements and specifications", Dr. Axel Leuchter, Quality Manager of Toho Tenax Europe GmbH.

Since 1993, TTE is certified according to the general Quality Management Norm ISO 9001. The certifications ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) were added in 2006. With the receipt of such certificates an independent auditor confirms the production of products according to international fixed quality standards and regarding environmental, occupational and health protection it is over and above the current legislative requirement.
