Triumph Group receives supplier of the year award from Sikorsky

Triumph Group, Inc. today announced that its subsidiary, Triumph Gear Systems – Macomb, Inc., has received the 2015 Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training Supplier of the Year Award in recognition of its exceptional performance and contributions to the Sikorsky division's success throughout the year. Triumph Gear Systems-Macomb is a current Sikorsky Gold Supplier which recognizes them for their best-in-class performance in quality, delivery and customer satisfaction.

Thomas Holzthum, Executive Vice President, Integrated Systems, said, “We are very pleased to receive this distinguished award, which is a testament to the manufacturing expertise, valued-added solutions and exceptional service our team provides in support of a number of Sikorsky programs. Triumph Gear Systems-Macomb provides Sikorsky with a variety of gears, shafts and housing assemblies. The award recognizes the company's significant contributions to the S-76 Commercial Helicopter production platform and the S-61R and CH-53 Sea Stallion spares platforms.
