Trusted supplier program scores CERTON as a Gold Elite supplier to Rockwell Collins

27/06/2016

Press releaseIssued by Cyient Limited.

Every day, the world's leading aerospace and defense companies rely on Rockwell Collins for smart communications and avionics electronics solutions to ensure the safety and dependability of their aircraft and the people on board. Working with a strong performing supply base is a critical factor in Rockwell Collins' ability to deliver these solutions and build upon the trust and respect that Rockwell Collins has garnered since 1933.

CERTON is very proud to announce being scored as a GOLD ELITE supplier to Rockwell Collins. This is the first year CERTON has been included in the Trusted Supplier Program (TSP) evaluations and this score demonstrates CERTON's alignment with Rockwell Collins' supplier expectations when it comes to total Cost of Ownership, Contract Compliance, and Customer Support. This achievement puts CERTON at the forefront of future business opportunities in safety-critical systems, software, and electronic hardware engineering services going forward.

Being a part of the TSP as a Preferred Engineering Services supplier provides CERTON with direct access to sourcing decision makers and Engineering Teams to help influence design and development decisions. This translates directly to CERTON having the opportunity to apply unique engineering best practices and tools to streamline safety-critical design, development, verification and validation activities.

Timothy Stockton, President & CEO at CERTON, stated, "We consider it a privilege to be able to work closely with Rockwell Collins during all phases of their avionics software and electronic hardware product development. The GOLD ELITE supplier status with Rockwell Collins represents CERTON is an established organization with a strong reputation in safety-critical engineering."
