Tufnol acquired by Diamorph

Tufnol is proud to announce that we have today, 27th May 2021, been acquired by Diamorph, a group of composite materials manufacturers headquartered in Manchester, UK.

Diamorph already owns a series of businesses that specialise in advanced materials and components in a diversified product range including wear parts & bearings, engineering ceramics, high temperature resistant materials, hard metals, and passive fire protection solutions.

Diamorph are also the parent company to Tenmat, who are based in Manchester, UK, where a number of solutions are manufactured onsite and shipped around the world. Tenmat have an excellent reputation within their industry for manufacturing excellence, as well as their research & development facilities and we pleased to be becoming a part of their group.

Motivations were sparked for this acquisition in 2020 when Diamorph recognised that Tufnol's already exceptional brand would benefit hugely from joining forces with Tenmat. Tenmat can support by infusing manufacturing knowledge, as well as already established research & development know-how to help Tufnol continue to grow and expand.
