U.S. based Web Industries, Inc., opens first sales office in Europe

Web Industries, Inc. has opened its first European sales office in Hamburg, Germany. The producers of advanced composite formatting services for the aerospace, automotive, wind energy, oil & gas, and industrial markets officially commenced office operations during a March 5th opening ceremony attended by Web Industries executives and engineers.

The office will serve as a hub for making Web Industries' full range of Aerospace-focused composite formatting services available to the European market.

"The Hamburg-based sales office reflects Web Industries Aerospace division's commitment to better serving its European customers with services that will streamline their manufacturing operations and help lower production costs," says Web Industries Vice President of Corporate Development Kevin Young. "Our primary focus is supporting aerospace market applications while we gather market intelligence on other key market segments."

Patrick Markert, head of business development Europe, and the Hamburg office's manager, adds. "The value of our services will also be apparent in the faster response times customers and research partners enjoy by ordering in the same time zone and by having a European-based contact person."

The Aerospace division's commercial-scale formatting and material management services include:

- Precision prepreg slit tape spools optimized for Automated Fiber Placement and Automated Tape Laying machines

- Virtually mistake-proof delivery of ply-formatted and kitted advanced composite materials

- Thermoplastic formatting for compression molding and tape placement

- Complete lot traceability and custom reporting

- Commercial-scale volumes with full quality assurances

- Comprehensive material management solutions

- AS/EN9100C certification and rigorous FOD control

The office is designated as Web Industries Stade GmbH.
