Universal Avionics Systems Corporation is pleased to announce that it has received registration to Aerospace Standard ISO-9001:2008/AS9100C. AS9100C standardizes the Quality Management System requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defense Organizations. Compliance to this quality standard ensures improved product quality, customer satisfaction, supplier control, program management, risk management, and manufacturing efficiencies through the implementation and use of thoroughly documented and controlled processes and procedures throughout Universal.
"Attaining AS9100C registration is a significant milestone for Universal Avionics and our Quality Management System," said Bob Uhde, Universal Avionics' Director of Airworthiness and Quality. "However, it's the daily commitment to quality by each of our employees that has enabled us to achieve this registration, and which will guarantee that the highest level of quality excellence will be maintained," he added.
