VECCO announces acquiring Kaman Composites Wichita

We are pleased to announce, on August 9th, 2024, Kaman Composites Wichita (KCW), a division of Kaman Aerospace Group was acquired by Sterling Heights, Michigan based VECCO. VECCO is an affiliate of American Industrial Acquisition Corporation (AIAC). VECCO was formed in 2022 and was formerly a division of the MB Aerospace Group (Now Barnes Aerospace). In the coming weeks, Kaman Wichita will be rebranded as VECCO Wichita.

KCW, a division of Kaman Aerospace Group, is a highly regarded aerospace and defense component supplier to some of the largest corporations in the world. KCW will become a strategic addition to the VECCO group of companies by being able to offer its end users both precision machining and composite material components.

KCW’s tailored manufacturing processes offer the customer end to end solutions by utilizing its state of the art process and machinery and equipment including multiple autoclaves, freezers, ovens, paint booths and more. The expanding Wichita facility is staffed with an extremely talented, knowledgeable management team and workforce who are dedicated to its future and the quality of the products for its demanding customers.
