Vision Systems equips SuperJet International's SSJ100 with its complete and innovative In-Flight Entertainment solution (broadcast, cameras and moving map). The Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional jet, under the airline company brand Interjet, unveiled its new interiors and IFE at the 50th Paris Air Show held at Le Bourget exhibition center from 17 to 23 June 2013.
Vision Systems' solution runs on a single box, the VisiBox, offering multimedia entertainment through an intuitive and friendly-user interface and moving map interfaces by ARINC 429. The system includes 18 tilt down displays, 1 flight attendant control panel and 2 wall mounted displays.
Once the system was installed, Vision Systems provided Interjet staff with an in-situ training session. “Interjet had been directly involved in the development of the product functionalities which helped to develop a customized setting”, stated Jérôme Monvaillier, Senior Vice President, Vision Systems Aeronautics. “Our ergonomic device has been particularly appreciated for its ease of use and the speed of the content loading.” Already placed as a world leader for solar protection solutions, this new collaboration strengthens Vision Systems' position as a tier-one system supplier for IFE in the aerospace industry.
