W. L. Gore & Associates joins Team FLRAA as a wire and cable supplier for the U.S. Army’s Future Long Range Assault Aircraft program

W. L. Gore & Associates, a global leader in aerospace cables and materials, has joined Team FLRAA, bringing its technology to one of the U.S. Army’s most advanced modernization efforts. Gore’s high-speed data cables, durable power enablers, and high frequency RF assemblies will serve as interconnects for aircraft systems of the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA)—a next-generation vertical lift platform designed to fly twice as far, twice as fast as conventional rotorcraft.

The U.S. Army’s FLRAA program, led by Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. company will redefine the battlefield through enhanced speed, range, survivability, and operational flexibility. Team FLRAA brings together suppliers to mitigate technical risks, bolster survivability, and amplify lethality for FLRAA.
