The collaboration has moved from planning into serial manufacture following a commitment formalised in 2024 and strengthened at Aero India 2025.

Dynamatic Technologies and Deutsche Aircraft have launched a rear fuselage assembly line for the D328eco regional aircraft at Dynamatic’s aerospace facility in Bangalore. The move marks a shift from design to serial production for the 40-seat turboprop.

The line is part of a collaboration that began in 2024 and was further reinforced at Aero India 2025. Dignitaries at the opening included Bavarian State Secretary Tobias Gotthardt, Deutsche Aircraft co-CEO Nico Neumann and Dynamatic CEO Udayant Malhoutra.

Gotthardt described the project as a sign of “mutual dedication to innovation, sustainability and economic growth”, noting Bavaria’s support for cross-border aerospace efforts. Neumann said the facility “fortifies the global supply chain” and supports regional aviation in India. Malhoutra called the line “a testament to the ‘Make in India’ initiative”.

The project is expected to enhance high-skilled employment, enable technology transfer and reinforce EU-India aerospace ties. The partnership reflects ambitions to create a greener and more connected aviation sector.
