The refreshed range expands digital integration and pilot assistance features while introducing new propeller and livery options across the SR lineup.

Cirrus Aircraft has rolled out its 2026 SR Series G7+ aircraft covering the SR20, SR22 and SR22T, bringing a set of updates focused on connectivity refinement and ownership experience.

All 2026 models incorporate G7+ features including Safe Return Emergency Autoland Automatic Database Updates powered by Cirrus IQ PRO Advanced Runway Occupancy Awareness and Smart Pitot Heat continuing the company’s emphasis on integrated safety and pilot workload reduction.

“The 2026 SR Series G7+ provides our customers with more choice more connectivity and more pilot convenience combined with revolutionary safety systems such as the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) and Safe Return Emergency Autoland,” says Zean Nielsen, Chief Executive Officer of Cirrus. “The 2026 SR Series continues to evolve in lockstep with our owners’ missions and serves as a valuable extension of their businesses and lifestyles.”

Connectivity has been expanded through updates to Cirrus Global Connect which now delivers a wider range of weather products including storm, cell movement, turbulence, icing and surface visibility with automatic updates every five minutes along the planned route. Cabin power has also been upgraded with high power USB-C ports for every occupant including two 60W ports in the front and two 100W ports in the rear designed to support modern devices such as Starlink terminals.

The SR22 gains a four blade composite propeller option for the first time while retaining a standard three blade composite propeller configuration.

Avionics enhancements to Perspective Touch+ include new visual approach tools that allow pilots to select and display traffic pattern entries on the moving map with optional autopilot coupling. Pilots can also store up to nine named display presets for rapid cockpit configuration.

The 2026 SR Series G7+ introduces two new premium Carbon and Platinum design collections along with three new exterior colours Tangerine Maldives and Viridian inspired by Cirrus Life travel and use cases.
