EDGE launches Powertech for high-performance aero engines

The new company will produce purpose-built engines for civil and defence applications, strengthening EDGE’s aerospace and autonomous systems portfolio.

EDGE has launched Powertech, a new company dedicated to the development and production of high-performance aero engines and complete propulsion systems. The company aims to compete in the global propulsion market, delivering reliable engines for civil aerospace and defence applications.

The creation of Powertech responds to the increasing global demand for propulsion solutions, driven by the rapid growth of aerospace and autonomous platforms. In addition to serving international markets, the company will enhance EDGE’s UAV and autonomous systems capabilities by offering flexible, purpose-built solutions.
