Honeywell’s JetWave X to enhance connectivity for Falcons

The high-speed Ka-band system will be available as a line-fit and retrofit option, ensuring seamless global in-flight connectivity.

Honeywell has signed an agreement with Dassault Aviation to install JetWave X, a high-speed in-flight connectivity system, on Falcon business jets. The system will be available as both a line-fit and retrofit option, enabling seamless global coverage.

“Fast, reliable in-flight data is more critical than ever before, and JetWave X will enable business jet owners and operators to seamlessly connect no matter where they fly while enjoying the same high-speed connectivity they expect on the ground,” says Jason Wissink, vice president and general manager, Services and Connectivity, Honeywell Aerospace Technologies.

JetWave X operates on Viasat’s Ka-band network, including ViaSat-3 and Global Xpress satellites, and is compatible with future Ka-band networks, allowing owners to switch between multiple providers for optimal connectivity and cost efficiency.

Dassault offers FalconConnect, a suite of connectivity services powered by Honeywell, which supports 3G/4G, Wi-Fi, Inmarsat L-Band, Iridium, and Jet ConneX Ka-Band. The JetWave X system is expected to be available in 2026, with retrofit options for existing aircraft.
