NAFCO launches Malaysian site as global output grows

The company's Seremban plant marked its official opening with industry and government guests and will focus on both aerospace and automotive components.

NAFCO has launched operations at its new manufacturing facility in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The site will focus on aerospace and automotive components and forms part of the company’s wider strategy to boost international production capabilities.

The investment was approved in October 2023 and the plant sits on a 20,000 square metre plot, with a 3,500 square metre initial building. Total investment is expected to exceed USD 40 million. The facility is designed to advance NAFCO’s smart manufacturing capabilities and is set to become one of its key global bases.

NAFCO specialises in aerospace fasteners and components and holds NADCAP, AS9100 and IATF16949 certifications. It supplies more than 8,000 certified products to international customers including General Electric, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce and Safran Group.
