Natilus showcases Horizon cabin designed for flexible layouts

The Horizon uses its 40% larger cabin to introduce family club seating, business conferencing pods and custom lighting options.

Natilus has unveiled the interior design of its Horizon aircraft, a 200-passenger blended-wing body design aimed at competing with the Boeing 737 MAX and Airbus A321 NEO. The Horizon offers 40% more interior capacity than comparable narrowbody aircraft, which it uses to enhance passenger comfort and flexibility.

Its modular layout allows customisation for airline and customer needs, and includes dedicated features for families and business travellers. Three video conference pods will enable in-flight meetings and collaboration, with Wi-Fi and phone compatibility. For families, the Deluxe Club Seating allows four passengers to sit two-by-two, facing each other, eliminating the middle seat and improving communication during the journey.

An intelligent lighting system mimics skylights and natural light, and can be synced with seatback infotainment systems to ease jetlag and offer an immersive experience.

Additional features include lie-flat first class seating, economy seats with personal screens, 7.5ft cabin ceilings for a more open feel, and eight exit doors, with options for double-width egress.
