Vaeridion advances Microliner with Garmin avionics

Garmin cockpit systems will support flight-test readiness, while a battery facility expansion strengthens control over critical technologies ahead of the electric aircraft’s planned entry into service.

Vaeridion has selected Garmin to supply G600 TXi flight displays for its initial Microliner test aircraft, supporting progress toward first flight.

The avionics choice forms part of the development pathway for the fully electric aircraft, which is targeted to enter commercial service in 2030. The Microliner aims to transition zero-emissions flight from testing into regular operations.

Garmin’s G600 TXi system brings touchscreen functionality, flexible integration and safety-focused capabilities, supporting situational awareness during flight testing and forming a basis for future cockpit development.

Alongside avionics integration, Vaeridion has expanded its infrastructure with a battery manufacturing facility and test house at Oberpfaffenhofen special airport. The addition strengthens vertical integration, improves control over core technologies and supports progress toward first flight and longer-term programme milestones.
