The eFlyer 800 will have only one-fifth the operating costs of traditional twin turboprops and is geared for the air taxi, cargo, regional and charter aircraft markets. L3Harris will collaborate to create an ISR version.

Bye kicks off construction of conforming eFlyer 2

Three conforming eFlyer 2 aircraft will be used in the test program to achieve final FAA certification, and the first is now being built by experimental aircraft experts Composites Universal Group.

18 November 2020 Safran Electrical & Power will supply ENGINeUS electric smart motors to the Bye Aerospace eFlyer family of aircraft.

Bye Aerospace already has sales agreements for over 700 eFlyer aircraft, and has opted to equip these with Safran's ENGINeUS 100 smart electric motor with fully integrated motor controller.
