13 March 2025 ATEA’s hybrid-electric design combines eight vertical and two horizontal electric motors for low-carbon regional transport.

ATEA’s hybrid-electric propulsion system will integrate Safran’s EASA-certified ENGINeUS motors, with ground testing already underway in southern France.

VoltAero chooses Safran electrical wiring for the Cassio 330

Safran will supply the propulsion system’s ENGINeUS 100 electric motor, which delivers a maximum power of more than 150 kW at takeoff. This integrates its own control electronics as well as an air-cooling system.

Bye targets turboprop markets with all-electric twin
