The upgraded autonomous agricultural aircraft features a 300-litre capacity, FAA commercial authorisation and a major order in Brazil for large-scale operations.
Following the commercial success of its agricultural spray aircraft, which led to a $37 million Series A raise in April 2022, Pyka has secured pre-commitments of over 80 orders and options for its Pelican Cargo.
EmbraerX and Pyka intend to concentrate joint efforts on getting the Pelican into the precision agricultural sector, particularly across Brazil. It already has a presence in Central America.
