Using high-temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cells, Advent Technologies and Stralis Aircraft are advancing the next generation of sustainable flight.
Hydrogen fuel cell assemblies from Advent Technologies have been integrated into Stralis Aircraft’s hydrogen electric Beechcraft Bonanza propulsion system, planned for flight later this year.
The project will focus on the needs for future hydrogen-fuelled aircraft, aiming to reduce the weight and volume of the powertrain system through a simplified balance of plant and cooling subsystems.
