Alauda prepares flying race car for piloted flights

Alauda Aerospace plans to begin flight testing the Mk4 chassis and powertrain, including the first crewed flights of the airframe, in the first quarter of 2023. It will be ready for the Airspeeder Racing Championship in 2024.

Australian eVTOL ambitions are off the ground

The eVTOL is expected to carry four passengers and a pilot at a cruising speed of 300 kph with a range of up to 1,000 km. AMSL Aero expects to commence deliveries of the Vertiia in 2026.

23 February 2023 BAE Systems and Leonardo UK recently received U.S. government approval to develop an interoperable aircraft survivability suite consisting of the Common Missile Warning System and Miysis Directed Infrared Countermeasure System.

BAE and Leonardo integrate warning and countermeasure systems

The AN/AAR-57 Common Missile Warning System is produced at BAE Systems' facilities in Nashua, NH and Huntsville, Alabama. Combined with the DIRCM system it forms a potent defensive capability.
