Triumph's latest contract extension includes key equipment and components used in the landing gear actuation, nose wheel steering, engine cowl door opening, brake, hydraulic and slat control systems.

8 December 2021 Safran Aircraft Engines and Albany International extend their partnership to develop 3D composites for CFM engines to the year 2046.

Safran and Albany International extend composite collaboration

The partners have built three plants in Rochester (New Hampshire), Commercy (France) and Queretaro (Mexico). These are dedicated to 3D composite parts and have produced 130,000 for the LEAP engine.

17 November 2021 Boeing and VSMPO-AVISMA signed an agreement on the supply of titanium and technology collaboration.

Titanium parts from VSMPO-AVISMA, a Boeing supplier for 25 years, are used on Boeing 737, 767, 787, 777 and 777X aircraft. A new deal seals this trade into the future, and should expand the supplier's role.

9 September 2021 Turkish Aerospace will manufacture and supply the Section 48 tail feather after being awarded the contract by Spirit AeroSystems.

Spirit has chosen Turkish Aerospace to manufacture and supply over 400 parts and sub-assemblies for a variety of Boeing platforms in addition to the contract to produce Section 48 tail feathers for the 737 MAX-8.

First P-8A fuselage for Norway joins the production line

Norway is expected to receive its first P-8 later this year. In total, five P-8s will eventually replace Norway's current fleet of six P-3 Orions and three Falcon 20s. The first fuselage has arrived in Renton.
