Gas-turbine Auxiliary Power Units developed by Motor Sich and Ivchenko Progress, capable of providing compressed air for main engine starting and cabin conditioning. Includes AI-9 APU, and the following variants also capable of in-flight/on-ground electric power supply: AI-9V APU (3kW generator - also Series 1 subvariant with 4.5kW generator), AI-9V-1 APU (9kW generator), and AI9-3B APU (16kVA supply).
