PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS

Liebherr-Aerospace at Paris Air Show 2011
Monday, 20 June 2011

As one of the leading providers of aircraft systems, Liebherr-Aerospace counts among the established major exhibitors at the Paris Air Show and is also present this year from June 20 to 26, 2011. At its stand no. D172 in hall 2B and also in chalet A228, the company welcomes friends and partners from around the world.

This year Liebherr presents systems and equipment for widebody aircraft, commuter aircraft and regional jets, business jets and helicopters with a new stand concept.

The stand covers an area of over 200 m?, where the product lines air management systems, flight control/actuation systems and landing gear as well as customer services will be on display.

The Airbus A350 XWB nose landing gear model in 1:1 scale certainly raises interest. It is the largest landing gear that Liebherr has ever developed and built.

In addition, the stand features examples of air management system components of Bombardier's CSeries and of the Boeing 747-8 engine bleed air system.

A supplemental cooling system including fan assy and controller are examples of the activities of Liebherr-Aerospace in the field of additional cooling systems for avionics/onboard electronics, galley and in-flight entertainment systems.

The stand also features flight control and actuation system products: Sukhoi's SuperJet 100 stabilising setting actuator, Airbus A350 XWB slat system components as well as Learjet LJ 85 flap system components.

Liebherr-Aerospace's advanced technology capabilities are shown by an example of a motorised turbo compressor to equip the potential bleedless aircraft of the future. This technology makes it no longer necessary to bleed air from the aircraft's engine, which presents advantages regarding energy consumption, weight and reliability.

The large spectrum of these technically sophisticated products is evidence of Liebherr-Aerospace's outstanding experience, technological advance and innovation potential as a designer and integrator of tomorrow's system solutions.

As a pioneering company, Liebherr-Aerospace is always looking for highly qualified and committed employees. From June 24 to 26, Liebherr therefore is also present on stand no. 52 at the job fair "Forum Air & Espace", which takes place on the exhibition site in the hall Concorde, at the Musée de l'Air.
