Wednesday, 14 May 2008

Pilatus Aircraft Ltd selected EBACE (European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition) for the official European debut of the newest version of its flagship business turboprop, the PC-12 NG.

The PC-12 NG features a number of significant improvements over its predecessor, including a fully integrated Honeywell Primus Apex avionics system, a completely revised cockpit designed by BMW Group DesignworksUSA, and a more powerful Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67P engine. Through these revisions the PC-12 continues its presence as the world’s best selling business turboprop. In March of this year the company’s reputation for precision engineering and attention to detail was rewarded with concurrent EASA and FAA certifications.

Since the initial launch of the PC-12 in 1994, nearly 800 aircraft have been delivered. Today this economical and versatile aircraft continues to generate significant interest in various market segments all over the world. Mr. Thomas Bosshard, CEO of Pilatus Aircraft Ltd commented: “Today more than ever before, the PC-12’s versatility and low direct operating costs are key reasons why the PC-12 gains new loyal customers year after year. Through the development of the PC-12 NG, Pilatus has confirmed its commitment to providing corporate and owner operators with an economically viable air transport solution.”
