Press releaseIssued by DCA Manufacturing, LLC.

DCA Manufacturing today announced that its Troy, Michigan and Cumberland, Wisconsin facilities have achieved AS9100D certification, the internationally recognised quality management standard for organisations serving the aviation, space and defence industries.

The certifications cover the manufacturing, servicing and testing of electronic Printed Circuit Boards Assemblies (PCBAs) and complex System Integrations at both of DCA's manufacturing facilities.

"Achieving AS9100D certification is a significant milestone that reflects our team's unwavering commitment to quality, disciplined execution and continuous improvement," said Upinder Singh, CEO of DCA Manufacturing. "For our aerospace and defense customers, this certification provides added confidence that DCA has the robust processes, controls and accountability necessary to support complex, high-reliability electronic programs and meet the demanding standards of these critical industries."

AS9100D incorporates aerospace-specific requirements focused on operational risk, configuration management, product safety, supplier quality, traceability and counterfeit parts prevention. The certification further strengthens DCA's established quality and compliance framework, which includes ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and IATF 16949 certifications. DCA is also ITAR and SAM.gov registered, supports IPC workmanship requirements and maintains compliance programmes addressing NIST SP 800-171, RoHS, REACH and ESD control.

DCA provides printed circuit board assembly, system integration and box build, engineering support, supply chain management, and turnkey electronics manufacturing solutions. With more than 40 years of experience, DCA supports customers across the defence and aerospace, medical, industrial, automotive, energy and emerging technologies markets.
