Boeing has chosen the electrical harnesses from Safran Electrical & Power to equip the 777X. Boeing has also renewed the end-to-end contract as unique supplier for the long-range 787 Dreamliner's harnesses design, manufacturing and certification services.

Today, more than 1,500 Safran Electrical & Power's employees are supporting Boeing Commercial Airplanes in engineering, manufacturing, services and program management in Morocco, Mexico and in the United-States. With these latest contracts, Safran Electrical & Power strengthens their relationship with their longstanding client, for which they have been supplying harnesses for nearly three decades.

John Alter, director for the 787 program for Safran Electrical & Power, commented: "These contracts confirm our joint success and the mutual trust we have built up over the years. With our team's enthusiasm and commitment to excellence, we have provided Boeing with exceptional quality, on-time delivery, product support, and value focused agreements. We look forward to participating in the great new airplane 777X and are very happy to continue with the 787."
