AIDC made the 1000th delivery of rear fuselage section of Bombardier Challenger

On Aug. 10, 2023, with the presence of President Tsai Ing-wen, AIDC delivered its 1,000th rear fuselage section to Bombardier, marking the cooperative success of AIDC and suppliers in Taiwan.

AIDC has been in cooperation with Bombardier for over twenty years and has received the Diamond Supplier Award from Bombardier for three consecutive years.

AIDC has been working in the field of civil aircraft to this day, and has earned trust from its partners including Boeing and Airbus. More than 90% of the civil passenger aircraft flying around the world every day has components made by AIDC.

This year, the outlook of national defense and military industries is promising. And, enthusiasm from the society for the aerospace technology industry continues to grow. AIDC Chairman Hu Kai-hung also mentioned the prospects of new primary trainer. According to AIDC, there are currently 252 domestic manufacturers involved in the AJT program. There will be even more manufacturers willing to join the development of new primary trainer. Moreover, some manufacturers have already started preliminary preparations. Domestic suppliers are gearing up, waiting to contribute its efforts and to bring prosperity to the industry.
