Press release
01/10/2008
After nearly 18 months of planning and construction A.E. Petsche Co. announced today the opening of its new Value-Added Connector Assembly Operation. The new facility, located within A.E. Petsche Co.'s Texas headquarters will dramatically increase the company's capacity to a daily rate of 10,000 mil-aero connectors per day. T
he nearly 20,000 square foot facility, which includes both production and connector component storage, will also allow A.E. Petsche Co. to provide its customers with shorter lead-times as a result of improved production flow and newly added equipment.
A.E. Petsche Co. will inaugurate its new production area with a Grand Opening celebration for its employees, key suppliers and customers on October 16.
A.E. Petsche Co.'s connector production manager, Nathan Christiansen, says "A.E. Petsche Co.'s new connector shop will increase our productivity without compromising A.E. Petsche Co.'s ongoing commitment to quality. In turn, these improvements will speed up delivery times, which is exactly what our customers are demanding." A.E. Petsche Co.'s senior connector product manager, Mike Mitchell, also described the impact of the new production area, and says "A.E. Petsche Co. customers are increasingly relying on us to assemble their connectors in ever shorter periods of time. The new production area and the capacity that goes along with it will allow us to meet or exceed those expectations as we go forward."
