Industry-leading aeronautical technology company Innovaero Technologies is delighted to announce that Innovaero Pty Ltd (Innovaero) have been awarded certification to AS9100 International Quality Management Systems standard for Aviation, Space, and Defence (ASD) organisations.

The certification scope under AS9100D covers design, certification, manufacture, maintenance and overhaul of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, products, and components for the aviation industry.

Innovaero is a proven world-class aeronautical product design, certification and manufacturing organisation with a track record delivering successful outcomes for clients in Australia and the United States. The AS9100D quality certification compliments Innovaero's broad portfolio of CASA design, manufacturing, and overhaul approvals, which includes a CASR Part 21J Design Organisation Approval.

This latest certification demonstrates Innovaero's maturity and cements the Western Australian-based company's ability to meeting the requirements of major ASD primes such as Boeing, Airbus and Raytheon. The AS9100D certification will further strengthen opportunities for Innovaero as a dynamic and trusted part of the growing sovereign Australian and global aerospace supply chains.

AS9100 certification — the gold standard for ASD designer/manufacturers — demonstrates Innovaero's commitment to deliver innovative specialist aeronautical capabilities that meet world class quality, safety, and compliance standards. To achieve this certification Innovaero worked closely with majority Aboriginal owned and operated joint venture, TQCSI-Yaran, who are Australian auditing and certification specialists, able to certify companies to international Aviation, Space and Defence Standards.

Welcoming the certification, Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr Simon Grosser, said, "Achieving AS9100 certification is a further demonstration of Innovaero's commitment to delivering the highest quality products and services for the ASD industry. This milestone achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team."

"This transition to a fully AS9100 certified design, development and manufacturing organisation, cements Innovaero as a top contender in the ASD industry and underpins Innovaero's commitment to delivering sovereign capability for the Australian Defence Force, as well as the wider ASD industry, from our modern manufacturing facility at Kardinya."
