Beckwood to showcase LAUNCH Virtual Press Designer at FABTECH 2017

Beckwood Press Company, a leading manufacturer of custom hydraulic presses and automation systems and the Triform line of precision forming equipment, will be showcasing their latest innovation in press design at FABTECH 2017. Visitors will not only learn tips to increase productivity and eliminate unplanned downtime, they will also be able to quickly develop concept drawings on-site to share with internal stakeholders.

This year's booth theme, "Imagine the Possibilities" showcases LAUNCH, Beckwood's exclusive virtual press design technology. Via a user-friendly interface, visitors can work with Beckwood's Solutions Team to input a variety of variables (bed size, tonnage, speed, heat parameters, etc.) and generate a preliminary sketch of their new machinery in real-time on the show floor.

Ideal for low-volume, high-mix part production, sheet hydroforming presses use a single, unmated tool and a pressurized rubber diaphragm to form parts with smooth, uniform, scratch-free surfaces that typically require no additional finishing.
