Bombardier renews provider agreement with ThyssenKrupp Materials

ThyssenKrupp Aerospace, a Division of ThyssenKrupp Materials CA Ltd, announced today that it has renewed and expanded a six-year contract with Bombardier Aerospace as the service provider for cut-to-size aluminum plate, sheet and extrusions and related supply chain services. Work will be performed at the existing ThyssenKrupp Aerospace facility in Baie D'Urfé, Québec, Canada.

Jürgen Funke, President of ThyssenKrupp Aerospace, noted, “We are pleased with the excellent performance of our Canadian employees and are proud that Bombardier continues to expand our relationship in accordance with the vision of their integrated supply chain project.”

Commenting on the new initiative with ThyssenKrupp Aerospace, Jocelyn Lecomte, Bombardier Aerospace Supply Chain Senior Director, quoted: "The competitive aerospace industry requires us to lower costs and increase services. This agreement focuses on both and the St-Laurent operation will benefit from this award. ThyssenKrupp Aerospace has been a valuable contributor to the success of our Integrated Supply Chain project. We look forward to continue developing this relationship in the future."
