Cobham SATCOM SwiftBroadband type approved by Inmarsat

Cobham SATCOM, the leading manufacturer of Inmarsat satellite communications equipment, announced that it received full Inmarsat Type Approval for all Inmarsat SBB services.

The Cobham SATCOM SwiftBroadband product range facilitates connectivity on aircraft, enabling networks, internet access, email, fax and telephony. The compact and modular products allow configuration options to fit every size aircraft.

Cobham SATCOM also produces an extensive range of market leading antennas (comprising of the HGA-8000/7001/7000/6500/6000 and IGA-5001/5006) and sets new standards in drag reduction, weight, compactness and power requirements for aircraft connectivity systems.
