The ECA Group Aerospace Division, subsidiary of Groupe Gorge, signed an over €10 million contract to supply a new assembly line for A320 front sections in Saint-Nazaire Airbus plant.
This Division will develop and deliver new structure assembling stations and manage the removal of the previous stations ensuring Airbus to meet its A320 production ramp-up target in the existing facility.
This new production line will enable Airbus Saint-Nazaire plant to manufacture additional front sections before the end of 2016.
The Aerospace Division of ECA Group, through its experience and knowledge of Airbus aircraft programs, has been able to set up an industrial organization allowing the installation of new production means without disrupting current production cycles.
This success occurring after successful delivery of ATR Final Assembly Line in Toulouse Mid 2014, demonstrates real improvement of efficiency operated by our group in these activities in the two last years.
