GE Aviation achieves Elite Supplier status from Sikorsky

17/04/2018

Press releaseIssued by GE Aviation Systems Digital.

GE Aviation announced today that its Avionics Systems business in Clearwater, Florida was recognized by Sikorsky for exceptional supplier performance.

GE Aviation achieved Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Elite Supplier status after demonstrating exceptional quality, delivery and customer support performance for the data transfer systems on Sikorsky's UH-60 Black Hawk aircraft. Sikorsky is part of Lockheed Martin Corporation's RMS business.

"It's a major accomplishment to be recognized by Sikorsky and to achieve Rotary and Mission Systems elite supplier status," said Alan Caslavka, president of Avionics for GE Aviation. "Our employees are proud to receive this recognition and we are committed to surpass last year's performance metrics."

To attain RMS Elite Supplier status, a company must supply best-in-class performance in achieving on-time delivery, cost and quality standards in 2017.

GE Aviation was one of only 19 suppliers recognized by Sikorsky's cross-functional leadership team for achieving this elite level of performance for 2017.
