12/07/2016

Press releaseIssued by Fokker Techniek.

GKN Aerospace's Fokker Technologies business unit is already a long term supplier to Boeing Commercial Airplanes on the 777 and 737 programmes for electrical wiring and interconnection systems (EWIS). The contract extension for three years is a confirmation of Fokker Technologies' position as a valued EWIS supplier to Boeing.

The manufacturing activities through the contract extension will see continued production for the 737 and 777 programmes supported by teams in the Netherlands, Turkey, China, and India.

Hans Büthker, CEO Fokker Technologies, stated: “We are delighted to extend our engagement on these important Boeing programmes. This contract extension builds upon our long and successful relationship with Boeing as a valued supplier and we are proud to be part of the Boeing tradition of aerospace leadership and delighted to contribute to a number of the most popular aircraft programmes in the world.“
