Press release
28/06/2024
The site was established in 2012 and expanded in 2015 to deliver metallic engine lip skins for the 737 MAX and 777X. Its niche spin-forming technology is not core to GKN Aerospace’s focused product portfolio and, with Boeing as the site’s only customer, the strategic sale benefits all parties.
Employees have transferred across to the new owners and we look forward to seeing the site thrive in the future. We wish everyone at Orangeburg very well.
