Hexcel honored with Embraer Best Suppliers Award
During its annual Supplier Conference, Embraer awarded Hexcel the Best Supplier of the Year in the Standards & Materials Category for its outstanding efforts throughout 2024. The award is a further recognition of 50 years of excellence in partnership between the two companies. Embraer announced the winners of its Best Suppliers Awards during its annual Embraer Suppliers Conference (ESC) held in Brazil, awarding Hexcel Best Supplier of the Year in the Standards & Materials Category for its outstanding efforts throughout 2024. This accolade is based on Hexcel's exceptional engagement, partnership, cost & efficiency, and operational performance.

“The Embraer Suppliers Award reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence and collaboration. It’s a recognition of the high standards we uphold across our operations – from safety first and quality always, to partnership and innovation,” said Roberto Chaves, Executive Vice President of Global Procurement and Supply Chain at Embraer. “This is how we continue to build a resilient and trusted business. Congratulations on your key contribution to this journey and the well-deserved recognition as our Best Supplier of the year.”

Tom Gentile, President and CEO of Hexcel, accepted the award on behalf of the company, expressing his gratitude. "This recognition is a testament to the long-standing collaboration between Hexcel and Embraer, who have worked together for decades to achieve common goals. We are truly honored to be a trusted partner of Embraer," said Gentile.

Hexcel has been a committed supplier to Embraer for the past 50 years, providing advanced composite materials integral to the performance and efficiency of Embraer's aircraft. Hexcel materials are used in every Embraer aircraft, including on leading platforms such as the C-390 military transport, the E-Jet E2 family of narrowbody regional aircraft, and the Phenom 300 business jet.
