In the fifth test flight, the MC-21 was in the air over 2 hours

The MC-21-300 aircraft performed the fifth flight within the program of in-plant development tests.

The flight lasted 2 hours and 10 minutes, the aircraft completed the flight task, which included testing the wing in all configurations. In particular, the landing was carried out in the landing configuration of high lift. The aircraft flew with retracted landing gear.

On 20 June, 2017 Oleg Demchenko, the president of Irkut Corporation at the Paris International Air Show said that MC-21-300 will perform more than 30 test flights within development test program after which certification tests will begin.
